Xiaomi Teases Redmi 6 Pro and Mi Pad 4 Launch In New Posters

After launchingRedmi 6 and Redmi 6Ain China last week, Xiaomi is heading towards two other big releases which are lined for a launch next Monday. This time, the Chinese technology giant has confirmed that it will beunveiling the Redmi 6 Proas well as thenewest iteration of the Mi Pad.

Aside from disclosing the launch date,Xiaomi has also revealed key specificationsusing afootball-themedposter which was shared onWeibo. In this poster, Xiaomi shares clear hints using symbols such as “AI”, “625”, “4000”. From an optimistic purview, Xiaomi appears to be hinting at AI capabilities which form acrucial part of MIUI 10, a Snapdragon 625 chipset, and a 4,000mAh battery.

The poster also displays 19-9 in a scorecard which presumably hints at a displayaspect ratio of 19:9. With this aspect ratio and the earlier leaks, the Redmi 6 Pro could also sport a notch,if its Tenaa listing is on point.

Based on a report byGizChina, the smartphone could be equipped with a 4GB RAM (at least on one of the variants) and run on MIUI 9.5.6 based on Android 8.1. It could be the same device whichappeared on TENAAlast month and showed off the notch on the front, The Redmi 6 Pro could feature a 5.85-inch Full HD+ display. The smartphone will featuredual cameras on the back with 12MP as the primary sensorand a 5MP shooter on the front.

Xiaomi alsoteasedthe launch of the much-awaited Mi Pad 4, also scheduled for the same date. This poster does not reveal a lot of details apart from the single rear camera and an8-inch Full HD display. But based onpast leaks, we can assume that the Mi Pad 4 will wepowered by a Snapdragon 660chipset and come with a6,000mAh battery.

Additional details from the leak include information about the cameras on the Mi Pad 4 which will be a 13MP sensor on the back and a 5MP selfie shooter. These cameras will miss out on 4K recording despite it being supported by the processor, but it is likely tocome with a portrait mode.

Apart from these devices, Xiaomi was also expected to reveal theMi Max 3but CEO Lei Jun reportedly confirmed that the device will be launched next month. We’ll keep you posted about the new launches as they happen.
