Tim Burton Is Not So Optimistic About Beetlejuice 3
After the 81st Venice Film Festival, the cast of Beetlejuice 2 along with Tim Burton arrived in London for the UK premiere of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice where Tim had a conversation withThe Hollywood Reporter. He told them that he is not really optimistic about creating Beetlejuice 3. In his comment, he stated-
Well, if [the same] time frame goes on, I’ll be about 100. So maybe. I doubt it”
Well, because the Lydia character [Ryder] interested me, getting older is where you start thinking about what happens in life. [She] starts as a cool teenager. Relationships … Do you have kids? What are they like? What do you like? How do you change? These are all things that I know and experience. So it felt more right to make this now, rather than back in, like, 1989″
So, with that being said, it is safe to say that Beetlejuice 3 is completely off the cards for Tim Burton. However, if another director thinks they can do a job as well as him, which isreflected in the early reviews of Beetlejuice 2, the threequel can still happen but the chances of that happening are slim.
