July is bringing us a plethora of amazing content, the highlight of it beingDeadpool 3but before it, Illumination Studios is bringing back Gru and his awesome family with Despicable Me 4. This movie will see Gru trying to gain the affection of his son Gru Jr. as he and Lucy try to build a normal life for themselves. However, this attempt of theirs is about to be jeopardized by a newly introduced villain in the franchise, but who is this guy? Let’s find out what we know about the villain of Despicable Me 4.

Maxime Le Mal Will Be the Villain in Despicable Me 4

Despicable Me 4 has introduced Maxime Le Mal as the new villain for Despicable Me 4 and he is being voiced by Will Farrel. In the trailer, we get to see that while Gru is trying to build a new life for himself, Maxime Le Mal escapes from prison and is going to extract revenge from him.

As of now, it has not been revealed why Maxime hated Gru but my best guess is that while working for the Anti-Villain League, Gru might have put him behind bars. In the trailers, we also get to see thatMaxime will be accompanied by his girlfriend Valentina who is going to be voiced by Sofía Vergara, known for her role as Gloria in Modern Family.
