Who is the Sith Lord in Star Wars: The Acolyte
May. 6, 2024The first two episodes of Star Wars: The Acolyte have been released and as seen in the trailer, the second episode of The Acolyte showed us a glimpse of the unnamed Sith lord who is Mae’s Master. Now the question is, since The Acolyte is set in theHigh Republic Era, it cannot be someone we have seen before. Who is it? Who is the Sith in Star Wars: The Acolyte? Who is Mae’s Master in The Acolyte
Darth Plagueiscould be Mae’s Master and the Sith Lord we see in Star Wars: The Acolytebecauseaccording to the timeline, he would fit perfectly when The Acolyte is taking place. In the trailer, we see a terrifying villain wearing a zipped mask, and the trailer ends right whereMaster Solasks the villain “What are you?”. Now that the series has been released, in the second episode we see a glimpse of this villain who is referred to as only “The Master”, who I am assuming to be Darth Plagueis.
Some people assumed that it could be a young Palpatine. However, this theory is kind of impractical since the events happening in Star Wars:The Acolytetook place more than 100 years ago before we got introduced to Palpatine. However, InStar Wars: Revenge of The Sith, Palpatine talks about his Master, Darth Plagueis who was so strong with the Dark Side of The Force that he could control death.
Another guess I have isAjunta Pall. Since The Acolyte is most probably dealing with the origin of The Sith Order, the main antagonist of the series could be the first Sith Lord, Ajunta Pall.
However, these are just assumptions based on the details we could scavenge from the trailer and the overall Star Wars timeline. If they bring in one of these characters that would be pretty cool but there is a possibility that we might get to see a brand-new character altogether. What do you guys think about this?
