The Penguin has finally reached its finale and dare I say, this series is one of the finest I have watched in a long time. Everything about this series is as good as it gets and it held on to its element till the very end which as well lived up to what was expected from this series. However, by the end, when we see Sofia in her cell at Arkham Asylum, she receives a couple of letters, one of which is from Selina Kyle, who claims to be her half-sister. So, who is Selina Kyle in DC and why was her name dropped by the end of The Penguin? Let’s find out!
Selina Kyle Is the Catwoman in DC Comics
Later on, she started seeing Batman and turned into a member of the Bat family. In some stories, like the ones based onEarth 2, Selina even married Bruce Wayne and had a daughter named Helena Wayne. The most recent adaptation of Helena was seen in Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part One where she was voiced by Erika Ishii.
By the end of The Penguin, we see that when Sofia is locked up in her cell at Arkham, she receives a letter from Selina who claims to be her half-sister since she is also the daughter of Carmine Falcone according to the story we see in The Batman. Sofia receiving this letter could be a hint towards Selina Kyle’s return as Catwoman in The Batman Part 2. So, let’s wait and see where this goes, and till then, stay tuned!
