The latest watchOS version also comes with Apple Intelligence features, customizable Activity Rings and Smart Stack, Training Load insights, summarized notifications, and more. Apple typically offersfive years of watchOS updatesto its existing Apple Watch models. Based on this, watchOS 11 will be available for the following models:

In addition to these Apple Watch models, you will also need to have an iPhone 11 running on iOS 18 to be able to update supported devices to the latest watchOS 11 version.

Since watchOS 11 has already been announced, the latest update is already available for developers. Regular users can try out the public beta when it arrives in July.

Apple will eventually release the stable version in late September or early October alongside iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS 15.
