Although, it has been a while since we’ve seen her as Captain Marvel in a movie revolving around her, making her reappearance as exciting as it gets.
Teyonah Parris will be appearing as Monica Rambeau in the movie. She is another member of The Marvels cast, playing a lead character who has the same cosmic powers as Captain Marvel. This is the first time we will get to see Rambeau at her full potential when she fights alongside Captain Marvel.
The final lead actress in The Marvels cast is going to be Iman Vellani reprising her role as Ms. Marvel. Earlier, she made her debut in the MCU as Ms. Marvel in her standalone Disney Plus series. The series became highly popular, amassing a Rotten Tomatoes score of 98%.
Throughout the series, there were certain teases for the appearance of Captain Marvel. However, she didn’t appear in the series until the final few minutes giving us a teaser for The Marvels, confirming Vellani’s appearance in this movie.
Zawe Ashton is going to be a part of cast as the main villain of the movie. She will play the role of a rogue Kree General, who, in the comics, was responsible for causing the war between the Kree and the Skrulls. However, in the comics, Dar-Benn was a guy but here it’s going to be a female actress. I don’t know why Marvel is taking a detour from the comics, but let’s wait and see what emerges.
AfterSecret Invasion, Samuel L Jackson is coming back as Nick Fury in The Marvels cast. We will see Nick Fury aboard theSABER space stationas its commander. He will be playing a supporting role in the quest of our lead actresses, trying to figure out what is happening to them while facing an imminent threat at the same time. Samuel L. Jackson has been an integral part of the Marvel universe since its very first movie and continues to do so in this one as well.
Famous Korean actor, Park Seo-Joon is joining The Marvels cast, making his entry into the MCU. As Prince Yan, he will play the role of theprince of the planet Aladna. In the comics, Aladna is a planet whose inhabitants wear colorful clothes and communicate through songs or anything that rhymes.
The Marvels seem to have taken inspiration from the comic run ofCaptain Marvel Vol 8 #9. According to rumors, the team of our cosmic superheroes will end up on Aladana and will have to communicate in songs.
The most adorable member of The Marvels cast is Reggie, a 12-year-old feline, who plays the role of Goose the cat. It is Captain Marvel’s pet Flerken who is alsoresponsible for the loss of Nick Fury’s eye. Although, these creatures in the MCU might resemble the Earth cats, in truth these Flerkens are extremely dangerous aliens who can consume entire human beings. In the comics, Goose once swallowed the Tesseract cube and kept it in his stomach for safekeeping.
Except for our three cosmic superheroes, the one-eyed spy. a supervillain, and an adorable feline, we are going to have certain supporting characters as a part of The Marvels cast. The members of the supporting cast along with their roles are mentioned below!
