The Bad Batch Season 1 in Star Wars Timeline

The Bad Batch Season 1 is where Order 66 was activated. We get to see that Clone Force 99, except Crosshair, does not fall under the effects of the incubator chip as most of the other droids did. They disobeyed a direct order to take down Jedis and went their own way. Now in the broader Star Wars universe, Order 66 was initialized in Star Wars Chapter 3: Revenge Of the Sith which took place in 19 BBY, which setsThe Bad Batch Season 1 in 19 BBY.

This season showed us the drastic change the galaxy went over. We saw the transition of The Galactic Republic into The Galactic Empire in great detail giving us a preview of what it would be like to live during the transition taking place.

Now since the Empire is tightening its grip over the galaxy, The Bad Batch Season 2 takes us and year further after the fall of the Republic. In this season, we witnessed the effect incubator chips had on the clones starting to wear off. We see Commander Cody starting to question the morality of The Empire and their place within it with clones being completely replaced by Stormtroopers. Talking about our protagonists, Clone Force 99, we see them trying to find their place in the Galaxy. The events we see unfold in Bad Batch Season 2 are set in 18 BBY where the clones had to fight for their right to equality among other citizens as they were being hunted down by the Empire.

Now with season 3 of The Bad Batch, we get to the complicated part of the show. The Bad Batchseason 3 is set in either 18 BBY or early 17 BBY. I can say that the story of this season is quite close to the beginning stage of Emperor Palpatine’s project Necromancer. As of season 3, Crosshair has been a part of The Empire’s forces for over a year but now, has made his way back to Clone Force 99 back to his brothers.
