Admiral Noble returns to Veldt to capture Kora aka Arthelais. Firstly, he asks her what she wants to achieve. Kora says that she wants nothing more than to kill him as she did before. Hearing these words from Kora, Admiral Noble shows the scar on his chest that he received during the fight, where he almost got killed by her. After that, he tells her that he has come to take her to Regent Balisarius. Kora bluntly asks him to take the grains and leave the villagers uninjured. She also asks him to tell Balisarius that he failed to capture the warriors he was asked to.
After having an intense conversation, the Admiral warns Kora to come with him at her will, or he will kill every villager. Kora agrees, but before she can leave Veldt with the Admiral, the warriors interrupt and save her. Later, Kora enters the dreadnought secretively and plants some explosives.
When the spaceship starts to crash, she meets the Admiral, and as expected, they lock horns. When Kora is about to get killed, Gunnar shows up and protects her. After that,Kora beheads Admiral, but we are not given a chance to see him die. So, let’s keep our fingers crossed and pray not to see him getting resurrected again in the upcoming Rebel Moon films.
Even thoughKora kills the Admiral, she isn’t able to save Gunnaras he breathes his last after returning to Veldt. The concluding moments also show Kora telling Titus that she lied to everyone and that she was not the one everyone thought her to be. Titus says that he already knows who she is, and he also reveals thatPrincess Issa, whom Kora shot in the flashback, is alive. After that, he asks her to stay strong because she has to find the princess and fight again.
Yes, there will be a Rebel Moon Part 3 as it has been confirmed by Zack Snyder himself. Speaking at the press conference of Rebel Moon Part 2,Snyder said, “Idon’t think it would take too long. Because Kurt and I and Shay, we know exactly where the story goes. We’ve got it all figured out. It’s all whiteboarded out and I’ve written probably the first like 20 pages of the third movie. So it wouldn’t be that big of a deal to get to it. But we’ll see.”
Also, for the unacquainted, in an interview withRadio Times, Zack Snyder revealed that he intends to make 6 Rebel Moon movies. If the previous two movies are evident, the Rebel Moon Part 3 release date is not far off.
No, there isn’t any post-credit scene at the end of the Rebel Moon Part 2. The film ends with the revelation that the Princess is alive, and Kora may have to go on a new journey. The ending of the film teases the third part of Rebel Moon, but there’s nothing else to watch after the credits start rolling.
