As the Pokemon GO roster for June commences, the game has introduced a major timed research event called Slumbering Sands. Players can catch the themed Pokemon Slakoth and even shiny Komala with Visor during this timed event in-game, and win special rewards. If you’re part of the few who also want to participate, it’s best to prepare yourself. So with that, let’s begin breaking down all the Pokemon GO Slumbering Sands timed research tasks and rewards.
Pokemon GO Slumbering Sands: Start Time and How to Join
During this research event in Slumbering Sands, you have certain tasks to fulfill, rewarding you with items like Pokemon, stardust, berries, and more. But, this isn’t a free-timed event. Rather, you must purchase a$2or equivalent local-priceevent ticketfrom the in-game shop.
Once you get the event ticket, you’ll see this timed event appearing in the events section of your research tab. If you buy the ticket today, you have five days to finish the event. Otherwise, that is $2 wasted, and a chance to catch a Pokemon lost. And we don’t want that!
If you plan on buying the event ticket to receive the timed research in Pokemon GO, it is wise to learn the details. Unlike theUltra Space Wonders event, you have two separate research task steps to complete. Each comes with a specific task and rewards you with items and Pokemon. So, if you buy the event ticket, here’s what you need to finish.
Completing these four tasks in step one of the Slumbering Sands event will reward you with 1000 Stardust, a Komala Avatar backpack, and aPokemon encounter with Komala.
Completing these four tasks in the second step will reward you with5000 Stardust,a Visor Slakoth, and aStar Piece.
