Joining the rotation on June 28 and staying until July 8, players can lock horns to fight one of the strongest Pokemon bosses in Mega Raid. Pokemon GO Mega Tyranitar Weaknesses

If you’ve fought a Mega Tyranitar in a Pokemon video game, you’ll find similar strengths and weaknesses in Pokemon GO too. Mega Tyranitar is aRock/DarkPokemon.

As such, the Mega Tyranitar’s weaknesses includeWater, Grass, Fighting, Ground, Bug, Steel, and FairyPokemon. Furthermore, this Pokemon can resist attacks from anyDark, Poison, Psychic, Normal, Fire, Flying, and Ghost.

The best way to counter Mega Tyranitar is to bring overTerrakion, Lucario, Kyogre, and Primal Kyogre. All these monsters counter Mega Tyranitar thanks to their Pokemon type.

Like previous Mega raids, you cannot catch Mega Tyranitar directly. Instead, you must use araid passto join the Mega Tyranitar Mega Raid. However, I suggest you call in your friends to join the fight, as more people will do more damage.

After defeating the Mega Tyranitar, you’ll receive a Tyranitar as a bonus encounter. If you already have a Tyranitar, you won’t get it. Additionally, you’ll also receive Mega Energy. Once you have200 Mega Energy, you can evolve Tyranitar into Mega Tyranitar.
