The Rivals Week will also begin simultaneously with GO Battle Weekend as a part of the May roadmap for the game. It will focus on monsters that are rivals with each other, increasing their appearance chances. As such, during this event, you’ll get a chance to find the following Pokemon:

Furthermore, you can gain10x XPfrom spinning Photo Discs at Gyms and 2 x Candy Catch. Additionally, the chance of encountering Shiny Zangoose, Seviper, Sawk, Heatmor, Throh, and Durant will increase during the event.

Flock Together, as the name suggests, is a bird-focused field research that will appear for a day. During this event, you can encountershiny variantsof Pidgey, Murkrow, Wingull, Starly, Pidove, and Fletchling. Also, you can complete Field Research tasks to encounter more of the featured Pokemon in this event for $1.

Catching Wondersis the first event this year bringing back the elusiveMaster Ballon the May roadmap.
This event will bring event-themed field research and a freeMasterwork Researchthat rewards players with a Master Ball alongside Stardust, XP, Berries, unique Encounters, etc. Furthermore, you can obtain 10 x XP and 5 x Stardust from your first catch of the dayand 10 x XP from the first PokeStop and Gym spins.

Ultra Space Wonders is returning to Pokemon GO through the May Roadmap. This event saw players receiving variouscollection challenges, Blacephalon and Stakataka returning to the five-star raids, andpaid special tasks. Furthermore, we also received a Mareanie-themed spotlight event, since the entire event was Mareanie-themed.

Once again, one of the recurring events in-game returns through the May roadmap.Incense Daythis year will start on May 26. While Niantic is yet to share the details, the event should involve attracting a feature Pokemon through in-game incense.
