I’m honestly glad that Strands is a daily puzzle and not weekly or bi-monthly, for it’s a pretty productive little thing I do everyday now. Today’s round was pretty chill honestly and I solved it way too quickly. However, if it’s annoying you instead, you can take a look at the hints and answers for the May 6 NYT Strands that I have listed below.

What is the Theme for Today’s NYT Strands?

As revealed by the New York Times, the theme for today’s Strands is“Signed, Sealed, Delivered”.

Every Strands game has that one Spangram that you need to decipher and today’s was no exception. The hint for today’s Spangram is –“Parcels that take time to get delivered”.

If you have figured out the Spangram from the above hint, figuring out the theme words will be easy. However, I don’t want to ruin it for you. Instead, here are three theme word hints that may help you:

If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:

The Strands today was a tad too easy to figure out, thanks to the immediately finding MAGAZINE in the grids. Next, I found BILL in the bottom right corner and right above it, was PACKAGE, as clear as day. I also found POSTCARD in the bottom section, leaving only the top bit of the puzzle to be solved.

First up, I found SNAILMAIL as the right-to-left Spangram for the day. At the top of the Spangram, on one side I found LETTER, while the other side was home to INVITE. That concluded my game as soon as it started, basically, and I didn’t have to use any hints.
