If you’re a Cynophilist like me, you’ll probably not have a hard time solving the Strands today. However, if you do have a genuine Cynophobia, it will be a bit trickier to get through. As revealed by the New York Times, the theme for today’s Strands is“Best in show”.

Every Strands game has that one Spangram that you need to decipher and today’s was no exception. The hint for today’s Spangram is –“Single word forheap of people“.

If you have figured out the Spangram from the above hint, figuring out the theme words will be easy. However, I don’t want to ruin it for you. Instead, here are three theme word hints that may help you:

If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:

If you’re unaware, every year, the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is held in New York, and a dog breed is crowned asBest in Show, which is what the theme today means. While I didn’t know about this before, finding HUSKY, BOXER and HOUND right at the top made me realize what the Strands today was about.

Soon, I found BEAGLE at the bottom right and COLLIE at the bottom left. In the middle of these two words was POODLE. At the leftmost grids, I found SHEPHERD and that led me to DOGPILE as the left-to-right Spangram for the day.
