It made me feel grateful for all the things that make my life easier. Anyway, if the puzzle today seems hard, the hints and answers I have listed for the April 16th NYT Strands should help you out. What is the Theme for Today’s NYT Strands?
As revealed by the New York Times, the theme for today’s Strands is“On the grid”.

Every Strands game has that one Spangram that you need to decipher and today’s was no exception. The hint for today’s Spangram is –“Day-to-day essentials”.
If you have figured out the Spangram from the above hint, figuring out the theme words will be easy. However, I don’t want to ruin it for you. Instead, here are two theme word hints that may help you:

If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:
First, the theme today had me thinking about the different continents and regions on Earth. Well, that was a wrong turn. When I accidentally found WATER and HEAT in the top left, I knew what it was all about. INTERNET, TELEPHONE, and CABLE were quick finds too.
With that, I found UTILITIES as the Spangram for the day running from right to left. Finally, all I had to find was ELECTRIC as the last theme word, and that concluded my game for the day.
