The luxuries of life are sadly not accessible to everyone out there. While today’s NYT Strands did not give me a hard time, it had me thinking. Every Strands game has that one Spangram that you need to decipher and today’s was no exception. The hint for today’s Spangram is –“Day-to-day essentials”.

If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:
First, the theme today had me thinking about the different continents and regions on Earth. Well, that was a wrong turn. When I accidentally found WATER and HEAT in the top left, I knew what it was all about. INTERNET, TELEPHONE, and CABLE were quick finds too.
With that, I found UTILITIES as the Spangram for the day running from right to left. Finally, all I had to find was ELECTRIC as the last theme word, and that concluded my game for the day.
