The April 11 NYT Strands tried hard to get into my head, but I managed to overpower it and fight off the dragons that were defending the letter grids to finally solve it. Wait a minute, that doesn’t sound right. Am I seeing things? Anyway, I don’t want you to go insane. So, here are the hints and answers for April 11th’s NYT Strands.

What is the Theme for Today’s NYT Strands?

As revealed by the New York Times, the theme for today’s Strands is“It’s all in your head”.

Yes, it is likely what you are thinking but it might not be. However, finding the related words can be a bit tricky.

Every Strands game has that one Spangram that you need to decipher and today’s was no exception. The hint for today’s Spangram is –“Creating imaginary scenarios”.

If you have figured out the Spangram from the above hint, figuring out the theme words will be easy. However, I don’t want to ruin it for you. Instead, here are two theme word hints that may help you:

If you have scrolled this far, you are probably ready to see the answers. So, let’s take a look at today’s theme words in Strands:

The theme was as clear as day and helped me find ILLUSION at the bottom right. Right on top of it, I found FANTASY, and I knew I was on the right track. The top left corner housed REVERIE and the bottom left, DAYDREAM. Running in the middle of these two words was FIGMENT. Gosh, quite a few big words today.

Anyway, with that, I had to connect the last grids to form MAKEBELIEVE as the Spangram. That brought today’s Strands round to a close. And, no hints were used today either. That’s cool.
