I am not kidding when I say I didn’t make this up. This is how I actually solved the NYT Connections puzzle today. I began by solving the hardest Purple category the first. This is twice in a week now and I am so proud. Although, to be honest, it was again not that difficult. Either that, or I just love spy movies too much.

I then moved on to the Blue category and solved it in a matter of a minute. Call it watching “The Big Short” a bit too much or a lucky streak, but I solved it easily again. The Green category came next and as expected it got even easier from there.

The easiest Yellow category was left. I combined the remaining words to get that along with the NYT Connections puzzle for April 17.
