The super powerful and also very satisfying wind burstenchantment for the macehas unfortunately been nerfed today. As of this pre-release, this effect will not activate if you hit the target standing at the same Y level as you.
This means you are forced to land on the target from at least two blocks for this enchantment to work. This is not all that terrible, but it does make it a little less satisfying to use.
