The exclusive footage presented by Kevin Feige at Cinemacon revealed thatChris Hemsworth’s Thor is making a cameo appearancein Deadpool & Wolverine!
During the screening of the exclusive sneak peek, we got to see a scene where we saw Thor crying over the dead body of Deadpool similar to Thor: The Dark World where Thor was grieving Loki’s fake death. Then, all of a sudden, Deadpool gets up, runs out of the scene, looks into the camera, breaks the fourth wall, as expected, and grabbing a microphone says,“Sck it, Fox, I’m going to Disneyland. Get fcked.”
We get to see that Deadpool has stopped being a mercenary and now he sells used cars and is going through a midlife crisis. Deadpool gets a surprise birthday party from his friends where hewarns Blind Al not to mention cocainebecause“cocaine is the one thing Feige said is off limits!”
After this, the Minutemen show up and take him to the TVA similar to what we saw in theDeadpool 3 teaser trailer. There, Mr. Paradox informs Deadpool that he is chosen for a “higher purpose” of saving the sacred timeline from impending doom to which Reynolds asks,“Does this mean loads of gratuitous cameos?”
Wade is then shown multiple footage from the MCU and its iconic scenes and is informed that he is being sent to the MCU. He is given a new suit and swords made out of Adamantium.
Now this scene could be pointing towards Deadpool gradually becoming a member of the Avengers, but right now, we cannot say much about it. Another possibility is that this scene could be from the second trailer of Deadpool and Wolverine rumored to be releasing in the first week of May.
With everything coming out about the upcoming movie, it won’t be an overestimation to say that if carried out well, Deadpool 3 could turn out to be the most successful movie ever created by Marvel Studios. So, let’s wait and see what Marvel has in store for us!
