WhileTomb Raider Remastered was a great purchasefor many fans of the franchise, technically the game is not new. This remastered is based on the original Tomb Raider trilogy. Then what about the next game for the franchise?

New Tomb Raider Game Speculated Release Date

There is no official confirmation or reveal for a new Tomb Raider game. This makes it hard to predict a release window for the upcoming Tomb Raider game. However, we can guarantee a new Tomb Raider game is in the works.

While revealing the news of theTomb Raider live-action serieson Amazon, Crystal Dynamics revealed a new game is in the works. According to some rumors, we may see more details come forward shortly.

Although Crystal Dynamics did not mention a release window, Amazon Games seems to be the one behind the new game. Christoph Hartmann, VP of Amazon Games mentioned:

Scot Amos, head of studio at Crystal Dynamics describes this collaboration will lead to a new path as he said:

“…we’re eager to forge this new path together, starting with building the biggest and best Tomb Raider game yet!”

While the official statements do not reveal much, an X post by userV Scooperrevealed some information regarding the new Tomb Raider game. According to the user:

These are not official details for the next Tomb Raider game, so take all the information with a grain of salt. But when it is a Tomb Raider game, we can guarantee great puzzles, survival, and adventure mechanics.
