Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl is almost here as the game arrives on Xbox and PC soon! GSC Game World has finally announced the preload for their latest game only for Xbox. With the game launching on November 20th, players cannot wait to get their hands on it. So, if you can’t wait to start playing, here’s how to preload Stalker 2 Xbox and PC.

How to Preload Stalker 2 on Xbox

When Stalker 2 went gold officially, the preload was available right away. So, if you want to preload the game on your Xbox console,you can do it right now. But before you do so, make sure you have150 GB storageready as it is the requirement for the preload.

Once you have it ready, pre-order the game from the Microsoft Store or Xbox Store, or get an Xbox Game Pass. After you make the purchase, follow the steps below to pre-load Stalker 2:

While the game is already available for preload on the Xbox, from PC stores, you cannot do it. This was confirmed by aReddit postthat shows a chat from the official Discord of the game. According to a chat from the official Stalker 2 Discord,the PC stores will not have a preload. So, if you are getting the game from Steam, Epic Games, or GOG,you cannot pre-download the game.

Even if you are on the Xbox PC app, you will get a Pre-Install button but it will not download the game with an error message. The message will say that Stalker 2 is not available for download on the Windows version of the Xbox app yet. So our best bet is hold on tight till the devs see this bug.
