Roblox Fisch has released a huge expansion update introducing a new island called the Ancient Isles. This new island has a secret location known as the Ancient Archives, which holds the ten craftable rods. If you are curious about how to reach this area, keep reading our guide and find out everything you need to unlock the Ancient Archives in Fisch.
All Items Required to Unlock the Door to Ancient Archives
There are several new items introduced in this update calledFragments. In Fisch, the Ancient Isles holds four types of Fragments, and you will require all of them to unlock the door to the Ancient Archives. These are:
There might be bombs and spikes randomly coming your way. So keep steering carefully and try not to take any damage if you don’t have a powerful boat. Upon reaching the Ancient Isles, you may look for the Fragments before opening the door.
The Deep Sea Fragment, as the name suggests, is located under the sea. Head to the western part of the Ancient Isles, where you will find a waterfall. If you turn on your Fish Radar, you will notice that Xiphactinus is found in this region. Dive into this shaded region and swim to these coordinates:-XYZ: 5843, 75, 383. You will find the blue-colored Deep Sea Fragment submerged in a corner.
The Solar Fragment is located at the top of the tallest hill in the Ancient Isles, specifically at– XYZ: (6074, 443, 681) coordinates. To reach the peak, you may consider using the zip line present at the coordinates (6160, 273, 357), located behind the wooden tower on top of the Merchant.
Once you reach the peak, you can pick up the Solar Fragment; however, this can be done only during aSolar Eclipse. If no such event is happening in your server, you can manually start one by using the Eclipse Totem found inside the cave, where you will get the Earth Fragment.
Having collected the Solar Fragment, head straight in the southwest direction till you reach the cliff, where you notice a big pink flower and some fences below. Jump down and land before the fences to find a secret cave hidden by some leafy structures. Head inside the cave, and you will find the Earth Fragment, the Eclipse Totem, and the Phoenix rod.
Pick up the Earth Totem. If you wish to manually start the Solar Eclipse, you may buy an Eclipse Totem for250,000 cash. I recommend server hopping to get into an ongoing solar eclipse event instead of buying this totem to save money if you are a mid-game player or just a beginner.
The Ancient Fragment can be found only through fishing in the Ancient Isles region. This might take a little while as the item is quite rare and might be the most difficult one to collect.
You should consider returning to the area where you got the Deep Sea Fragment and fish, specifically in the Xiphactinus area, to have the best chance of finding this item. Use a rod with high lure speed, like the No-Life rod orRod of the Depths, and the Rapid Catcher/Instant Catcher baits to fish faster in the game.
Having collected all four Ancient Fragments, you may now head to the cave that leads to the Ancient Archives Door. You will require an additional three players to complete a task in the cave of the Ancient Archives. So bring three of your friends and perform the following steps to reach this area and open the Archives door:
Now that the door is open, you have finally unlocked the Ancient Archives in Fisch. Once you head inside, you will find a bridge broken in a few places. Use the Glider to cross these areas and get to the next point. At the end of the bridge, you will find a stone Anvil with a green glowing base.
Here, you can craft ten new rods by collecting all the required items. Some might require fishing at certain locations to get the rods, while some have a high-level requirement to unlock the rods. Most of these are endgame rods, and it is recommended to complete at least 70% of your Bestiary, The Depths region, and level up till you can unlock them.
