What Is a Scadutree Fragment in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree?

In your journey through the Shadow Realm of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, you’ll come across a new item called Scadutree Fragment. This brand-new itemhelps increase your damage negation values and attack power. Bosses in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree hit very hard. Hence, this item is perfect for players who don’t want to experience the Elden Ring DLC after playing a few NG+ runs of Elden Ring.

When you use a Scadutree Fragment, you will see the increase applied as a percentage on top of your base values. For example, if you have a weapon with 679 damage power, two Scadutree Fragments will increase it to 743. This applies to every relevant stats in-game.

Remember, this buff only works for the Shadow Realm. So once you leave the place and return to The Lands Between, you’re all alone.

When you open up your stats page, you’ll see that the overall attack power and damage reduction have increased. It shows up in yellow text compared to the standard white one. The first Scadutree Fragment of the game lies in the Church of Consolation in Shadow Realm. When first interacting with theGravesite Plains Site of Grace, look north and ride through the jungles to reach the Church of Consolation. This place will provide you with your first scadutree fragment.

Elden Ring DLC’s second Scadutree Fragment lies right in the open. After ignoring (or battling) the first Furnace Giant, you’ll reach the Three-Cross Site of Grace. You will find it right next to Miquella’s Cross.

The third early-game Scadutree Fragment lies right before the Main Gate Cross Site of Grace. Head southwest through an arch in the middle of the screen after you reach the Three-Cross Site of Grace. Keep heading straight until you see the Miquella’s Cross from a distance. The Scadutree Fragment lies at the front of that cross.
