Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame does a ton of damage and has a series of delayed attacks. Here are all his weaknesses you can exploit to defeat him easily:

Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame is comparatively easier than most of the other DLC bosses. Hetakes a lot of stagger damageand is fairly methodical in his attacks.

The most worrisome feature of Midra is thedelayed but extremely quick attacks. These can be hard to judge and it’s better to use Bloodhound step if you constantly getting hit by them. To fight Midra, you must defeat his base form each time you enter his boss room, which is a fairly easy task as he gets stun-locked easily. Follow the tip below to do so:

Midra is a fairly easy fight if you are patient with your attacks. The easiest way to defeat him isusing Spirit Summons to draw away his aggroand then slamming him with jump attacks using heavy weapons to break his aggro.

If you want to defeat Midra solo, thenI would suggest usingthe Bloodhound step to avoid his delayed attacks consistently. During the fight, you need to wait for him to finish his combos, which leaves himopen for a few secondsthat you can capitalize.

However, make sure to always be ready for Midra’s attacks because he may look slow, but his strikes areextremely quick and hard to judge.

Here are all his attack patterns in phase 1 and how to dodge them:

After dropping below one-fourth of his HP bar, Midra will use the Flames of Frenzy explosion to light the entire room with flames of frenzy. You can cancel this phase transition by breaking his staggerwith jump attacksif you have built up enough stagger damage prior to it.

In phase 2, Midra will imbue most of his normal attack comboswith Trail of Frenzy, so you need to stay extra cautious to not step on them.

Other than that, thestrategy is the same as phase 1. Let him finish his attack combos and punish him during the brief gaps to defeat Midra.

Here are all his attack patterns in phase 2 and how to dodge them:

Provided you follow the tips above, you will be able to beat Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame in Elden Ring. You will be rewarded with the“Remembrance of the Lord of Frenzied Flames”, which can be exchanged for Midra’s sword and incantation.
