Robin is a 5-star Harmony character focused on amplifying allies with Support skills and strong sub-DPS abilities. She is a Physical damage type character, making her the first 5-star physical Harmony character. She has a very strong kit and can increase the damage of her allies significantly. Here is how you can best build Robin in Honkai Star Rail.

Honkai Star Rail Robin: Path, Damage Type, Lore and Drip Marketing

Robin is a 5-star Harmony character with the Physical Damage typeand she is Support focused character with good sub-DPS abilities. She scales on Attack, which makes her quite effective over other support units in the game.

When it comes to her Lore and Backstory, she is a Halovian singer born in Penacony, who rose to cosmic fame. Robin is part of the Family and she has been invited to sing in the Charmony festival. She uses the power of Harmony to broadcast her music manifesting resonance among all manner of lifeforms.

Robin’s kit is very simple, while being highly effective. She is a support unit with good sub-DPS abilities. Here is everything we know about her kit and how to optimally play Robin’s best build in Honkai Star Rail.

Robin’s kit Skill gives 50% damage increase to all allies for 3 turns, making it a very strong support ability. The effect turn reduces at the start of Robin’s turn,so the uptime for the effect is very good, making her a Skill positive character.

Her Ultimate is the main source of Damage for Robin, as it puts her in the Concerto state, increasing the Attack of all the allies and dealing Physical damage to enemies when her allies attack targets. The Physical damage dealt by Robin during this state has a100% Crit Rate and 150% Crit Damage. The Concerto state will last for 1 or 1 and a half turn cycle, calculating based on the 90 speed of the countdown.

Robin’s talentadditionally increases the Crit Damage of allies by another 20%and generates 2 energy for her each time her allies attack targets. Her Technique is great for herding a lot of enemies together and starting the fight with all of them at the same time.

When it comes toher ideal cycle rotation, use her Skill and continue using her Basic attack to recharge energy. Once you have full energy, use her Skill and then use her Ultimate to get both the buffson the allies. This way you can use all her buffs correctly, getting the best out of Robin’s best HSR build.

The 4-piece Musketeer of Wild Wheat is the best Relic set for Robinas it increases her Attack, Speed and Basic Attack Damage. Alternatively, you can also use the 4-piece Messenger Traversing Hackerspace for Robin’s best build to increase the Speed of all the allies when using her Ultimate.

Other than that, you can also use a 2-piece Musketeer of Wild Wheat and 2-piece Messenger Traversing Hackerspace for increased Attack and Speed for Robin.

The 2-piece Space Sealing Station is the best Planar Ornament for Robinas it gives her a significant Attack boost when she has 120 speed. Alternatively, you can also use the 2-piece Broken Keel set, which gives a 10% Crit Damage increase to allies when the wearer has 30% or more Effect Resistance.

Robin’s buff from her Ultimate scales on her Attack and doesn’t have a max limit yet. So,prioritize stacking as much Attack on Robin as possiblefor Robin’s Best Build, which will also increase her Physical Attack damage. Next, prioritize on her HP to keep her alive, Speed and Effect Resistance, to meet either the Broken Keel or Space Sealing Station requirements.

You can also use an Energy Regeneration Rope on her, but she has enough ways to regenerate energy that I feel it’s better to focus on stacking Attack.

Robin has somegood Light Cone options.Flowing Nightglow is the best Light Cone for Robin, which is also her signature Light Cone. For Tomorrow’s Journey is a good alternative as it increases her Attack, which is a free Light Cone released in version 2.2.

Other than that, Planetary Rendezvous is another good choice if you have a Physical DPS in the team or playing a mono-physical team.

Robin’s Eidolons are extremely powerful, especially her E1 and E2. Her E1 increases the All Type Resistance penetration of all allies in the Concerto state by 24%, which is insane. Her E2 further increases her Talent’s Crit Damage boost for allies by another 16%. Although, Robin is very strong without her Eidolons,I will recommend you go for her E1 at leastif you have the spare Stellar Jades and you want to build the best Robin.

Ascension Abilities:

Stat Boosts:

When it comes to Robin’s Ascension Trace abilities, her A4 increases Follow-up attack damage from allies by 25%, making her very strong for Follow-up teams. Her A6 is also very useful as it regenerates additional 5 energy when she uses her Skill. Overall, her Ascension abilities are worth investing, but you can skip her A4 if you don’t have any Follow up attacking DPS unit.

Robin can be an asset in almost all Hyper carry teams, however, her A4 Trace ability makes her significantly stronger for Follow-up attack-focused teams.Robin’s best team will featureClara, alongside Topaz, and Aventurine.

She can also be great alongsideDr. Ratio. Other DPS units like Jingliu,Dan Heng IL,Blade, Seele, or Argenti can also use Robin in their teams. Qingque with her E4 can create a very strong F2P team with Robin.

Robin is a powerful support unit and may be stronger thanRuan Meiif her kit isn’t nerfed on release. Her damage output capability is very strong and in a Follow-up focused team, she can create mayhem for any enemy.I will recommend you try pulling for Robin, especially if you missed out on Ruan Mei. I have explained this decision in detailin this guide.
