Honkai Star Rail: Boothill Materials and Farming Guide

Boothill will be released in the second phase of the banners and he is going to be a 5-star Hunt Physical character. If you are planning to pull for Boothill, you will need his ascension and trace level-up materials. Here are all the Boothill ascension and trace level-up materials in Honkai Star Rail.

Boothill materials can be easily farmed in Penacony, but you will need to wait for version 2.2 to release first to pre-farm his materials. Many of Boothill’s ascension and trace materials are released with 2.2 version.
Tatters of Thought can be attained by defeating enemies and clearing Calyx (Golden) in Penacony. These materials can also be farmed through assignments, which is the easiest and most hassle-free way to farm them over time. You can also convert other materials into these materials.
These materials can be obtained from completing Bud of the Hunt: Soulglad. This Calyx Crimson is currently unavailable will be available with the 2.2 version. Farm other materials first and then wait to farm these materials on the release date.
The IPC Work Permit is the item drop from the new Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Duty coming in Honkai Star Rail 2.2. This cannot also cannot be farmed at the moment and you need to wait for 2.2 release to pre-farm them.
Honkai Star Rail 2.2 version will have the new boss Harmonius Choir: The Great Septimus. After defeating it in the story missions, it will become available as the Echo of War: Salutations of Ashen Dreams. Defeating this Echo of War after 2.2 releases will give the final trace material for Boothill.
