He is very versatile when it comes to team comps, as his main reaction is Swirl. Shikanoin Heizou: Weapon and Element Type
Shikanoin Heizou is a 4-star Anemo character wielding a Catalystand he is an on-field DPS or Sub-DPS. His kit focuses on creating the Swirl reactions, which also amplifies his damage stacks. Heizou is not the best Anemo DPS in the game, but his play style is quite fun to play.
He is the number one Tenryou Commission detective, harboring a rivalry with the Bantan Sango Detective Agency’s Sango. He is a free-spirited and unruly, but cheerful and lively young guy.
Shikanoin Heizou is a 4-star character so he isalways available in the Standard bannerofGenshin Impact, with the same drop rate as every other 4-star character and weapon in the standard banner. For his featured banner, he last featured in Genshin Impact 3.7, on Alhaitham’s banner. His next banner has not been revealed yet by Genshin Impact.

Shikanoin Heizou is an on-field Anemo DPS withhis kit focused on triggering the Swirl reactions, which amplifies his damage output. Whenever Heizou triggers Swirl, he gets a Declension stack, which can then be consumed when using Heartstopper Strike, dealing increased damage. Heizou can also gain a Declension stack by holding his Skill button and charging it up, which is not ideal for his kit.
The Elemental Burst does a big AoE Anemo damageand triggering Swirl with it also makes it deal another instance of damage. The 4-piece Viridescent Venerer is the best artifact set for Shikanoin Heizou, as it increases Anemo damage and damage from Swirl reactions by a lot. This artifact set is perfect for Heizou and should always be prioritized over anything else.
Other than that, the2-piece Viridescent Venerer and 2-piece Gladiator’s Finaleare also a decent option, but they lose a lot on the increased Swirl damage compared to the 4-piece Viridescent Venerer set.
Heizou can have an EM or Crit build, however, his Crit Build has more damage and also has more uses for him. For his Crit build use Attack% Sands, Anemo Damage Goblet, and Crit Circlet. When it comes to her EM Build, use an EM Sands, Goblet, and Circlet.

The Widsith is a clear favorite for Shikanoin Heizou’s weaponin his best build, as it increases Crit Damage by 50% as a bonus effect, and further increases Heizou’s Attack, Elemental Mastery, or Elemental Damage from the weapon’s skill. Other than that, theSolar PearlandSacrificial Fragmentsare also good alternative weapons for Heizou.
The Lost Prayers to the Sacred Wind and Skyward Atlas are the best 5-star weapon options for Heizou, although, I won’t recommend wasting a 5-star weapon on him when there are other good 4-star options available.
Heizou’sconstellations are very important for his kit’s damage output. His C1 increases his Normal Attack speed after entering the field and also gives him one stack of Declension, making it easier to get the max stacks. Other than that, his C4 allows his Windmuster Kicks to regenerate around 13.5 energy each, which is pretty good. His C6 massive increases his damage potential, increasing his Crit Rate by 4% for each Declension stack.
