Clorinde is a 5-star Electro character appearing in Genshin Impact 4.7 and her kit appears extremely strong. She is going to be a main DPS wielding a Sword (with a gun) and her kit is focused on Bond of Life, similar toArlecchino. It is getting clear that Bond of Life is going to be the new meta mechanicgoing into Natlan, and most new characters releasing in the coming versions will use that mechanic. Clorinde: Weapon and Element Type

Clorinde is a 5-star Electro character wielding a swordand she has a main DPS-focused kit. Her kit focuses on Bond of Life, similar to Arlecchino, and she can only play as a Main DPS as her kit requires her to stay on-field to deal damage.

Clorinde is the champion duelist of Fontaine and served as the bodyguard for the Hydro ArchonFurina. Genshin players who have finished the Fontaine archon quest are well familiar with Clorinde, especially her face-off with Navia. Her Drip Marketing also reveals that she has never been defeated in a duel.

Clorinde’s English voice actor is Crystal Lee, who is known for voicing Miriam in Unicorn Overlord (video game), Gina in Solo Leveling (anime), Oni Adventurer Athena in Smite (video game).

Clorinde’s Japanese voice actor is Yui Ishikawa, who is known for voicing Mikasa Ackerman in Attack on Titan, 2B in Nier: Automata (video game), and Violet Evergarden in Violet Evergarden (anime).

After using her Skill, she enters the Night Watch State, which changes her Normal Attacks into electro-infused attacks and also changes her Skill into a lunging attack with various Bond of Life modifiers.

She can gain Bond of Life through various means, one being her enhanced Normal Attacks up to 100% Bond of Life and another being her Elemental Burst. Other than that,a percentage of healing given to her during the Night Watch state is converted into Bond of Life. Depending on the percentage of her Bond of Life, she has increased Crit Rate, Crit Damage, Damage dealt, and healing. For Clorinde’s cycle rotationuse her Skill to enter the Night Watch state and continue using her Normal attacksto deal damage and build Bond of Life to 100%. Once her Bond of Life hits 100%, use her Elemental Burst to gain more Bond of Life, and then use her Enhanced Skill to deal massive AoE damage and clear the Bond of Life, healing her in the process.

Clorinde’s best build will feature the 4-piece Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy artifactset. This artifact set gives her an 18% Attack increase and another 18% damage increase for 6 seconds (max 3 stacks) when her Bond of Life increases or decreases.

Other than that, the 4-piece Thundering Fury set is also perfect for Clorinde, especially if you are using a Bloom team. It increases damage from Bloom, Electro-charged, Overloaded, and Superconduct reactions, decreases her Skill Cool Down, and gives Clorinde a straight 15% Electro damage bonus.

When it comes to her main and sub-stats priority,focus on stacking her Crit Damage, Crit Rate, and Attack %to increase her damage further. Also, try to hit 140% – 150% Energy. A normal Main DPS build should work perfectly for her.
