The Boys is probably one the most loved shows in the world right now and people have built sort of an emotional connection with the cast and the characters they play. However, the fandom is worried about one character and the rumor around him. The speculations floating online suggestFrenchie is going to be recast for The Boys Season 5.
This speculation has taken fans who are super invested in The Boys Season 4 by storm. So, are these speculations true or false? Let’s find out.
Speculation of Frenchie Being Recast in The Boys Is False
Frenchie played by Tomer Capone’s recasting rumor came to light with a TikTok video released by @invader.zema. They stated that Tomer’s Frenchie would be recast due to certain concerns related tohis service in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). However, I have listed a set of reasons for not taking this video seriously.
First of all, the video does not give any official documentation or source regarding Frenchie being recast. Moreover, by the end of the video, we see an advertisement for a fundraiser making it even more clear that this video is nothing more than just a distasteful andunprofessional clickbaitfor the fundraiser.
Also, Tomer Capone is one of the cast members who will be attending the San Diego Comic-Con from July 25 to July 28 to promote The Boys. If there were any plans to recast the actor, he would not have been listed to attend the event.
So, to all my Frenchie fans, you all can relax, Tomer Capone is not being recast for The Boys Season 5.
