The final episode of this season had a massivepost-credits scenethat legitimately had the fans screaming. The scene shows us that Homelander has found out about Soldier Boy being alive and we get a shot of him in a cryo chamber. This scene has made fans believe that Soldier Boy will be back in Season 5 and might play a role in taking down Homelander. Soldier Boy Can Drain Homelander of His Powers and Kill Him

The Boys Season 3 made it clear thatSoldier Boycan kill Homelander. We get to see that Soldier Boy has developed the power of generating a massive radiation blast that can burn off the Compound V in a supe’s bloodstream, taking away all their powers.

In Season 3, Butcher planned to use Soldier Boy’s radiation blast and kill Homelander but his plan did not exactly work out. So yes,Soldier Boy can drain Homelander of all his powers and easily kill him once he is powerless.

However, showrunner Eric Kripke has revealed thatSoldier Boy will go after Butcherinstead of Homelander in The Boys Season 5.

However, it’s really difficult to say that this is what’s going to happen in The Boys Season 5 sinceThe Boys comics had a very different endingand storyline as compared to its TV show counterpart. In the comics, Soldier Boy is the leader of a superhero team called Payback but wants a spot in The Seven. Homelander lies to Soldier Boy that sleeping with him will get Soldier Boy the role he wants and Soldier Boy does it on multiple occasions. They never actually engage in actual combat in The Boys comics.
