If you ask me about the best sports anime of the modern generation, Blue Lock easily takes the win in my books. With an incredible first season, Blue Lock showed how it’s miles ahead of every other sports anime and is in a league of its own. The second season was announced already, and now that we have the release for its sequel, we have everything you need to know about Blue Lock Season 2.
When is Blue Lock Season 2 Coming Out?
The first season of Blue Lock had a total of 24 episodes. While we expected another big season, it isn’t the case. It has been revealed that Blue Lock Season 2 is listed for14 episodes. This is due to the fact that the second season will focus primarily on one arc — the U-20 arc. You can learn more about the arcs that will be adapted for season 2 below.

The U-20 Arc is one of my all-time favorites in Blue Lock, and I’m so excited for the anime fandom to see it get animated in the upcoming season. The entirety of the U-20 arc should be animated this season, along with a tease for the Neo-Egoist League arc towards the end.
