Bleach TYBW Part 3: Does Ichibei Hyosube Die or Not?

Is Ichibei Hyosube Dead in Bleach?
No, Ichibei Hyosube is not deadin Bleach TYBW. Yhwach indeed unleashed a powerful attack on him, but he somehow survived. Ichibei isn’t someone who can be easily killed; this mystical event is an example.
After getting his head dropped on the ground, Hyosube communicated with Ichigo using his spiritual power. He asks Ichigo to call his name as all his powers lie in his name. Initially, Ichigo gets confused after hearing his voice, but when he calls out his name, Ichibei comes back to life.
After getting healed, Ichibei Hyosube explains to Ichigo that when the spiked head called out his name, he used some of Ichigo’s energy to heal his body. However, he also reveals that he can’t fight Yhwach despite being resurrected as he will need more time to regain his full powers. So, Ichibeipassed on the responsibility of killing Yhwach to our main protagonist.
In the final episode of TYBW Part 2 and the first episode of Part 3, we see three Squad 0 members, Tenjiro Kirinji, Kirio Hikifune, and Oetsu Nimaiya, committing suicide by slicing off their throats. They do that so that Shutara can use her full powers without destroying the three realms.
Apparently, Squad 0 members could dismantle the realms by unlocking their full powers. So, they entered into a blood pact to lock their true powers. Further, they also decided that only one of these members could unlock their full powers but at the expense of the lives of the rest. That is why they killed themselves.
Following that event, Shutara fights Yhwach’s allies and gives them a tough time, but she is later killed by Uryu Ishida. We already know that Ichibei will come back to life, but what about the rest of the Squad 0 members?
Well, you’d be delighted to know thatSquad 0 members can’t die– they come back to life and instantly reappear in their original form in Soul King’s palace. For that to happen, they need at least one of the members alive, and, in this case, they have Ichibei. Interestingly, at the end of the manga, Ichibei himself states to Ichigo that Squad 0 members aren’t dead. That’s because the High Priest was confident that he could resurrect all of them.
