What Is the Beetlejuice 2 Release Date

So far, there are two trailers for Beetlejuice 2, the first one confirmed to the people that Beetlejuice 2 is not a reboot but a direct sequel to the original 1988 movie. The trailer, especiallythe first trailerbrings us a grown-up Lydia last seen in the original Beetlejuice movie and this time, the protagonist of the movie is going to be her daughter, Astrid. The trailers are a nostalgia trip and ensure that the movie is going to be one as well.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will see the return ofMichael Keatonin the role of Beetlejuice after a long time of 30 years. Along with him,Winona Ryderwill reprise her role as Lydia whileCatherine O’Harawill once again take up the role of Lydia’s mom Delia Deetz.Jenna Ortegawill join the cast of Beetlejuice 2 as Astrid, Lydia’s daughter and we will see her not being friendly with her parents just as Lydia was in the first movie.

Willem Dafoeis joining the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice cast as a former B-grade actor Wolf Jackson, who is now a detective in the afterlife.Monica Bellucciwill appear in the role of Beetlejuice’s wife andJustin Therouxwill appear playing the character of Rory.

The plot of Beetlejuice 2 was kept a massive secret from the eyes of the public but with the release of the first trailer, the plot synopsis of Beetlejuice 2 was made public and it seems as if we are going to witness the perfect blend of what we saw in 1988 and the modern world. The synopsis reads-

“Beetlejuice is back! After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem”

The synopsis and the trailers themselves confirm that just like Lydia let Beetlejuice loose this time, her daughter would be responsible for bringing him back to the land of living. giving us the perfect blend of horror and comedy.
