Asus ZenFone 5Z Flagship Launched at a Great Starting Price of Rs. 29,999
Jul. 4, 2018Asus might have had a rough time as of late in the smartphone market, with its once famous Zenone lineup failing to live up to its former glory. However, with theZenFone Max Pro, the company has been giving decent competition to the budget king Xiaomi. Now, the company looks to capture the budget-flagship market now and give competition to the OnePlus 6 with its latest offering, the Asus ZenFone 5Z.
Asus has just launched the Asus ZenFone 5Z in New Delhi exclusively on Flipkart as part ofa tie-up the two companies announcedearlier this year.The ZenFone 5Z packs in the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processorand goes head to head with the OnePlus 6 and Honor 10.
The Asus ZenFone 5Z features a6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2246 x 1080. The screen boasts of a brightness of up to 550nits with the Super IPS+ display. It also features the notch like the iPhone X, andsimilar to the Animoji, the ZenFone 5Z also packs in its own variant – Zenimoji.
The device will be available in 3 storage options, that is,64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. While the 64GB variant comes with 6GB of RAM, the other two models will be stocked with 8GB of RAM. The storage is further expandable thanks to a hybrid dual-SIM slot, that supportsmicroSD cards up to 2TB.The device will also be available in two color variants, namely,“Meteor silver”, and “Midnight blue”.
As for the camera, the ZenFone 5Z features a dual rear camera setup with AI. The primary rear camera makes use of theflagship Sony IMX363 12MP dual-pixel image sensorwith F1.8 aperture and 1.4µm large pixel size. The secondary rear camera is an 8MP 120° wide-angle camera. On the front, you get an 8MP with F2.0 aperture and a 1.12µm pixel size. The main rear camera can record videos up to4K at 60 fps with a 3-axis electronic image stabilization (EIS).
