The Standard Edition is the base game with no additional content. Pre-ordering this version will get you the bonus “Thrown to the Dogs” quest. This will be locked for players who purchase the game later. In my opinion, players who want the game and nothing else should get this version and be done with it.
The Gold Edition carries over all the previous perks but will let you play the game3 days earlier(i.e., November 12). You will also get the Shadows Season Pass, which will include another bonus quest in the game later. If you’re really itching to get your hands on Shadows sooner, get this one.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows Ultimate Edition is Gold Edition plus the Ultimate Pack. This pack will include in-game items to customize your characters. The game will also include new gears and tools, including theSekiryu Character Packand theSekiryu Hideout Pack, along with five skill points pre-loaded in the game. Do you really want that competitive edge? Well, then, the Ultimate Edition is the way to go!
This Assassin’s Creed Shadows edition is for all the collectors out there. Well, hence the name. The highlight of the collector’s edition is the amazing statue of the game’s two protagonists. Additionally, you will get aHardcover book, Shinobi’s Metal Tsuba Replica with Stand, Silk Creed Kakemono Roll, Set of Three Sumi-e Lithographs in the bundle. Do note that this edition is Gamestop exclusive!
