6.1-inch LCD iPhone Leaked In Four Color Variants

As we approach theSeptember 12 launch datefor the new iPhones, the leaks are becoming more rampant. In the last few days we’ve seenleaked press rendersof the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, and theApple Watch Series 4. We’ve seenCAD rendersof the iPad Pro, and now we have the third and final piece of the new iPhone puzzle —dummy models of the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone have just popped up in red, blue, gold, and white colors.

The leak comes courtesy ofSlashleaksand if it is to be believed, the more affordable LCD variant will look a lot like the iPhone 8, except in more colors. The glass back is pretty evident, and so is the camera bump. Unfortunately we can’t see the new iPhone from the front in the leak because rumors have suggested that the LCD variant will come in the iPhone X-like design but with slightly thicker bezels.

Apple is expected toprice this particular variant of the iPhone at $699, which would keep it in line with last year’s iPhone 8, while the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED models are expected to be priced at $799 and $999 respectively, similar to last year’s iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X.

We’re also expecting to see Apple launch the new Apple Watch Series 4 at the event, and possibly a refresh for the iPad Pro as well.
