Minecraft 1.21 Tricky Trials update is coming in hot, and it’s finally time to update your world and start exploring the new content. But what should you do first? Which mechanic should you try out, the crafter or the wind charge? Well, this guide will help you choose the things you should do first after installing theMinecraft 1.21 update. With that said, let’s start!
1. Build with New Copper and Tuff Blocks
The first thing you should do when you install Minecraft 1.21 is to try out the newcopperand tuff blocks to elevate the look of your builds. Since the regular copper and tuff blocks already exist, you have the required resources to craft new building blocks.
Those new blocks are chiseled copper, copper doors, copper trapdoors, copper grates, copper bulb, tuff stairs, slabs and walls, polished tuff, tuff bricks(stairs, slabs, and walls), chiseled tuff and tuff bricks.
As you can see, there are lots of new building blocks to check out and play with, so don’t waste any more time and use our guides for reference on how to make them.
Crafteris easily one of the most useful redstone blocks we have got in recent updates. If you’re into redstone mechanics and builds, we recommend you dedicate some time to making the crafter first. It’s fairly simple and complex at the same time.
You’ll get a hang of its basic features quickly, but if you would like to auto-craft some specific and advanced recipes, then you will have to combine the crafter with otherredstone componentsand figure out the connections. This is a pretty fun activity and one that you’ll sink a lot of hours into after installing the update. Check out somecool uses of the crafterblock here.
And now let’s turn our attention to the more combat-related content of the Minecraft 1.21 update –trial chambers. This is the new structure that the whole update is about. So, among the first things you should do when you install the 1.21 update is tofind the trial chamberand explore it.
They are always randomly generated and filled withtrial spawnersthat will spawn mobs for you to fight and defeat. If you prepare properly as recommended in our guide aboutthings to do before the Minecraft 1.21 release, you’ll have lots of backup gear and food as well asvillagersready to become cartographers.
So, find the nearest trial chamber with thetrial chambers explorer mapand start exploring it. Make sure you’re ready to battle mobs as there will be lots of them. Fights with theBreezewill be most unpredictable and excitingand since every chamber has Breeze spawners, you’ll be able to fight anddefeat the Breeze mobin the very first structure.
This is also a great opportunity toget trial keysand openvaults in Minecraftto get some precious rewards. However, you should check out ominous trials if you want a superior challenge and even better loot.
Ominous trialsare harder versions of regular trial spawners, as they transform them into ominous trial spawners with the Bad Omen effect.
This special spawner will summonmobswith gear most of the time or simply more mobs. Not only that; randomMinecraft potionsand projectiles will appear above the mobs and players, so it’s a lot more difficult than regular battles.
This is a great challenge if you’re confident in your combat skills. Furthermore, the possible reward is anominous trial key, which opens theominous vault. This block can include some special items like the Creator music discs, an enchanted golden apple, a block of diamond, and theheavy core.
After lots and lots of ominous trial fights, you will finally obtain the heavy core (the drop chances are low so you might have to go through a lot of them). Once you do, you canmake a mace, Minecraft’s most powerful new weapon that can even one-shot every mob in the game.
The mace damage increases the further you fall and you can even enchant it with the bestmace enchantmentsand turn it into an even more deadly hammer.
However, the mace requires experience to be truly destructive, so don’t get discouraged if you are bad with it in the beginning. Keep practicing and you’ll be the most invincible blocky being in your Minecraft world.
So yeah, those are the five things you should do after installing Minecraft 1.21. Which one of these will you go for first? Drop your answer in the comments below!
