5 Major MCU Events We May See Again in Deadpool and Wolverine
May. 20, 20241. The Age of Ultron Opening Fight Sequence
First, we will talk about the things we saw in the trailer that strongly suggest Deadpool going through some timelines, and as we move forward in this piece, we will read further into the lines. The first MCU event I strongly believe Deadpool and Wolverine will take us to is the fight sequence in the opening of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
In both theDeadpool and Wolverine teaserand thetrailer,we have a sequence where Deadpool is seen engaging soldiers wearing TVA colors in a frosty forest setting very similar to what we have seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron. On top of that, when Mr. Paradox shows Wade clips from the MCU, there’s also a clip from this very fight sequence raising the probability of this event appearing in Deadpool and Wolverine even more.
Another highly anticipated theory among fans is Deadpool and Wolverine will make their way to the final battle of Avengers Endgame. Someone even made afan-made trailerfor the same. This speculation came to rise when during the final moments of the Deadpool and Wolverine trailer, we see both of them jumping into a portal strikingly similar to one Doctor Strange creates for teleportation.
In Avengers Endgame, many portals opened up calling in reinforcements for the Avengers, and maybe, just maybe, this portal is one of them. Trust me when I say it if Marvel makes it happen I would lose my mind.
Another MCU event I think Deadpool can show up at is the ship fight scene we witnessed in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Now I’m not saying this completely based on speculation but there are subtle hints that tell us that Deadpool may show up during the events ofThe Winter Soldier,if not the ship scene, somewhere else. The very opening of the 9-minute clip screening of Deadpool and Wolverine came along with the BGM ofCaptain America: The Winter Soldier.
On top of that, When Mr. Paradox shows Deadpool the clips from MCU in the trailer, Deadpool is highly impressed by Captain America and even salutes him. The clip is also in some sort of a special focus since it is on all three screens. All these factors support the idea of Deadpool and Wolverine making their way toThe Winter Soldier.
